Tears from the moon

Fall down like rain

Stars winking in the gloom

Ghostly winds moaning

Sorrow for a song

The perfect lullaby

As the dark descends

The sound of rain

The smell of rain

All this dampness

And recklessness

The touch of it

Upon my skin

Long rain, slow rain

Rain, raining on rain

The stars playing

Hide and seek with

Wisps of tattered clouds

I love rainy nights

The tenderness of rain

Soft kisses of the night

Spin into ribbons

Of Tears

To wash away the

Pain of yesterday

Falling asleep to the

Sound of rain

Silver liquid drops

Upon my head

Rain drops

The perfect lullaby

Reality and I have quarrelled. This is where I go so he can't find me, my Other Place. Here I can spin my Fancies and Fiction, as I wander among the Stars and listen as they whisper their secret to the moon. My name is Annie, I am lovely and lonely and I belong deeply to myself. I love cats, listening to the blues, the mountains more than the beach, being lazy, writing my fancies and fiction and I also love to crochet. That's me and this is my Other Place.
