Night’s Enchantment

b8968ccc21d5532ad713ca79fdbfb60d

Moon beams, star dust

Ribbons of rain

Magic and mischief

Old and strange

I gaze into the mirror

I whisper your name

Beauty and fear echo on the wind

Ways to seek and find

Dark secrets tempt

Demons dance and sing

Of nowhere and never

How much darkness

Can  you gather

Sorrow’ s sting, pain and pleasure

Your touch cold against my skin

Breathless stars, candles in the dark

The kiss of your lips

The rough velvet touch

Of  Your tongue on my skin

Dark intentions sweetened

I gaze into the mirror

I whisper your name

The laugh, the kiss

Darker then pain

As nights enchantment

Fades

Reality and I have quarrelled. This is where I go so he can't find me, my Other Place. Here I can spin my Fancies and Fiction, as I wander among the Stars and listen as they whisper their secret to the moon. My name is Annie, I am lovely and lonely and I belong deeply to myself. I love cats, listening to the blues, the mountains more than the beach, being lazy, writing my fancies and fiction and I also love to crochet. That's me and this is my Other Place.
