Love comes

Like a whisper in

The night – lightly

As a rosebud

Soft and vulnerable

Lover comes quietly

As rain drops in

The soft warm dark

Most gentle hands

Hands that breathe

Patient hands that touch

With no shadow

Of demand

Quietly how does love speak?

In the deep soulful stillness

We’re madness melts in bliss

As tears fall on

Warm sin

Quietly love is gone

I knew not that he came

I knew not that he was gone

Rapture of a kiss

Love comes like a whisper

Like the air between your fingertips

Quietly as rosebuds

Talk to thin air

Reality and I have quarrelled. This is where I go so he can't find me, my Other Place. Here I can spin my Fancies and Fiction, as I wander among the Stars and listen as they whisper their secret to the moon. My name is Annie, I am lovely and lonely and I belong deeply to myself. I love cats, listening to the blues, the mountains more than the beach, being lazy, writing my fancies and fiction and I also love to crochet. That's me and this is my Other Place.
