Into Oblivion

Once – there was a time

The darkness of dark – wonderfully tragic

Dark Paradise

That stole into my fancies

Pretty rain did fall softly

Drowsy fireflies to dance

And kiss a rising moon

And stars whispering their secrets

To the eternal sky

Death only a dream

Untreatened by moon or Sun

Life – nothing but a whisper

That no one hears

Your darkest secret

Someone else’s desired wish

Somewhere – caught

In this world

Clouds float out of

The blackness – like

Red flowers

Of a lost summer

Sweet melancholy madness

Knows what the soul is

Every time I close my eyes

I’m there again

Following the things of darkness

Like a tremor of pure midnight

That wants to swallow everything

Death rises up

As in a dance

And takes my hand

We spin and spin

Into Oblivion

I love Oblivion

It is full of second chances
