The Ravishing Lilies

Feathery fields – rise and fall

Where the ravishing lilies

Sway gracefully

Ribbons of pure sunlight

To dazzle each petal

Where the hummingbird

Comes – tender and demanding

They rise in stiff sweetness

In the pure peace of giving

And was happy, and why not
