Walking in the Rain

Walking in the rain

It started this way

Slow and sweet in silver moonlight

The winds of dawn blow softly

And wish in every half – breath sigh

For you – time is nowhere

Crushed – beneath and above

Between yesterday and heartache

Within my sad eyes the

Tears are bright

Everything has stoped

The moon and stars are standing still

Black decay has come

Far above the muddied ways

Silently blooming – this doorless wall

This darkness that does not yield

Comes cruelly, a terror thing

A sheet of hopeless shade

Shut suddenly down all

That is sweet and bright

The passion you prentended

Beautiful and bittersweet

Like wet and falling roses

The end – quick and bitter

Passion and delight the time between

Walking in the rain

It ended this way
