A Single Kiss

How does love speak

In the shy touch of hands

That thrill and tremble

In wild words of

Passion and heavenly sin

When the beautiful stars

Steal though the shade of

Twilight hour and

Blossomed from their dust

In the clear silence beauty found them

Their bodies and souls mingling

The raptures of the night

When he kisses her – when

Their lips meet – a

Wondrous letting go

And they fall into each other

Touching everywhere

They have only this

This single kiss

That has no beginning

That will never never end

Reality and I have quarrelled. This is where I go so he can't find me, my Other Place. Here I can spin my Fancies and Fiction, as I wander among the Stars and listen as they whisper their secret to the moon. My name is Annie, I am lovely and lonely and I belong deeply to myself. I love cats, listening to the blues, the mountains more than the beach, being lazy, writing my fancies and fiction and I also love to crochet. That's me and this is my Other Place.
