The Sigh Before The kiss

And still you blossom in my mind

As cold stars blossom in the night sky

A memory – forever tender

The sigh before the kiss

A whisper, a thought

Let the winds of sweetness blow softly

Of the slow pleasure summer would wish

Like the heart beneath my lips

Of joy and hopeless surrender

Melting desire, arms, legs, lips

Close clinging to embrace

Fade away, dissolve – crumble to dust

Cast to the wind – it matters not

Pondering between pretty tears and sweet goodbye

Nor ask a reason upon a

Sigh before the kiss
