Leaves Upon Falling Dreams

Worries are dust
Not better, not worse
Leaves upon falling
Dreams – constant changing
A vast quilt – deepened
And mystified by the sunset

This world
A mere reflection
Deceit to the eyes
An illusion – thoughts
Caught in invisible vision

In surrender
My soul breathes in unison
With the pulse of the wind
Stretching meadows
Enchanted by blossoms
Beguiled by willows
Existence and nonexistent
That leads nowhere
And it is no place

No more enduring
Than last night’s dream
I gaze toward the sky
Tears – as many as the stars
All that remains – faded memories
Leaving traces so faint
Have you forgotten me?
