The Bright End

Midnight, the sky, thick
With black clouds that
Block out the stars
Yet this charming melancholy
Somehow won’t outlast
The madness and tragedy
Deep inside

A single thought
So our lives end and begin
A thousand world’s
Forever lost in a breath
Diving into endlessness

Shattered in the wind
Cold lips that sing no more
Regretful eyes, which
Lie upon the dim moon
With clouds yawning
In the distance and
The sky, forever quiet
Reaching the bright end
