The Rain Now Comes

It starts once again
Stars without moonlight
So close but so far
Yet I hear his heart beating
Memories of lust surround our souls
Can you see me now

Your silence so haunting
Splatter me with your darkness
The stars disappear
But you need not hold my hand
We breath the same air

Minds love each other
Words last forever
A kiss lasts for a life time
I shall be your muse
Almost lost and forgotten

You are my rhythm
Unsung melodies
Drifting upon me
You lay next to me
Or so far away
So the rain now comes
I can’t hear my heart breaking

Reality and I have quarrelled. This is where I go so he can't find me, my Other Place. Here I can spin my Fancies and Fiction, as I wander among the Stars and listen as they whisper their secret to the moon. My name is Annie, I am lovely and lonely and I belong deeply to myself. I love cats, listening to the blues, the mountains more than the beach, being lazy, writing my fancies and fiction and I also love to crochet. That's me and this is my Other Place.
